Financial and Management Reporting
Direct consolidated management reporting to the UBO (HNWI) of the Group on a monthly&quarterly basis, showing changes in his net wealth, all cash flows of the Group as well as his personal income and expenditure for the reporting period. Detailed explanation of all material changes.
Control on preparation of weekly excel reports on bank account balances for the group of companies and private accounts of UBO by reflecting main transaction activities and providing them to UBO.
Lead the finance and accounting teams. Business process automation, including significant acceleration of finance department work performance.
Supervision of accounting of the Holding companies (Cyprus, UAE) and Investment Funds (Cyprus, Cayman Islands).
Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in different jurisdictions. Tight deadlines due to regulatory reporting in Cyprus and Cayman Islands. Passing external audits (Big 4).
Budgeting and Forecasting
Plan-actual analysis for the past period. Budget forecasting (income/expenses/investments) for the next month/quarter/year.
Budget development and presentation to UBO.
Calculation of profitability of investment projects (ROI, IRR, NPV, etc). Performed sensitivity analyses to assess how changes in key assumptions (e.g., discount rates, growth rates, and cost projections) could impact profitability metrics.
Finance Liquidity
Managing and optimization cash flow of the Group of companies (more than 20 legal entities) - develop and oversee strategies of the most efficient cash flows through various banks/jurisdictions, depending on the current goals of the Group. Possible tax consequences are always considered, as well as the fact of passing an audit.
Monitor the Group’s and personal cash flows to ensure that all obligations are fulfilled on time.
Regular selection of the most profitable placement of available Group and private cash balances on term deposits (classic / fiduciary) or purchasing financial instruments (corporate bonds / US T-bills).
Treasury
Day-to-day work with banking institutions and brokers as an authorized person, supervising incoming and outgoing transactions via web-banking system alongside banking managers (Private Banking).
Supervision of Group companies’ profiles and private accounts in various Top-tier banks (Switzerland, UAE, Monaco, Cyprus and other EU countries, Cayman Islands, etc.): opening new private and corporate accounts, control of filling/updating existing banks’ forms, standard review.
Managing payments via 1C system: control of inputting relevant tickets, following up on the payments’ status, proceeding with required actions regarding each payment (execution/cancellation). Scheduling and arranging payment Registers and payment Calendars.
Passing through bank compliance procedures for both inflow and outflow transactions for all Group and private activities.
Trading of financial instruments on capital markets
Supervising team of traders and analysts (trading in shares and derivatives) - review of daily analytics on capital markets, selection of financial instruments for trading, risk management assessment.
Analyse macroeconomics, market trends, fundamental and technical analysis to perform decision-making.
Execution / supervision of execution of trading orders on capital markets (mainly US securities market).
Calculating the released/unrealized result of trading in the form of monthly/quarterly reports to the UBO.
Venture projects (private equity investments and investments in designated Investment Funds) through Cyprus-established RAIF V.C.I.C. Fund to invest together with other investors: Set up of regulated Investment Fund from scratch, operational support of investments via various instruments.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor the finance team. Recruitment, motivation and training of personnel.
Review and correction of legal documents prepared by both the Group’s lawyers and service providers.
Daily communication with various brokers/auditors/service providers/partners and counterparties to achieve all goals and effectively meet all requirements.
